Cape Town - A kidnapped baby was returned to his mother after police arrested the kidnapper in Paarl, Western Cape police said on Tuesday.
“His 35-year-old kidnapper was arrested and she is due to make a court appearance in Paarl once she has been charged,” Lt-Col Andre Traut said.
Two-month-old Azile Skafu was found in good health at the suspect's residence in Mbekweni, Paarl on Tuesday afternoon, he said.
Skafu was kidnapped on Friday morning by an unknown woman after his parents had offered her shelter.
