Johannesburg - Tweets from a Twitter handle purported to be that of Radovan Krejcir’s son Denis have been mocking and threatening forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan.

The investigator has laid a charge of intimidation against Denis.

The tweets by @dkr925 Denis Krejcir say: “Mr Sullivan. Your time is coming. Prepare yourself. Soon.”

The tweets ask O’Sullivan if being stupid is a profession and say he excels as a clown.

The person says in the posts on Twitter he can’t wait to p*** on O’Sullivan’s grave.

The tweet with the clown reference is accompanied by a doctored image of O’Sullivan with a red clown’s nose.

In a statement to police, O’Sullivan said he had seen the tweets and knew Denis as the son of Krejcir, “a person against whom I have taken steps to have jailed as a result of organised crime”.

Krejcir is charged with conspiring to murder O’Sullivan as well as crime intelligence cop Colonel Nkosana “Killer” Ximba.

O’Sullivan said he had downloaded the tweets.

“It is clear that the sender of the tweets has (mistakenly) assumed that I am the ‘tweeter’ using the handle ‘@unsafezone1’. For the avoidance of doubt, I confirm that I do not use social media at all,” O’Sullivan said in his statement.

He added that even if he were this person, this would not be grounds for “such a criminal response as this, which is clearly intended to intimidate me”.

The Twitter handle @unsafezone1 is said to be used by someone called Michael Zulu, who tweets that Bedfordview is safer without Krejcir and that he will lose in court and go to jail.

Krejcir’s legal representative, Piet du Plessis, said he had no knowledge of the tweets or the case that had been opened.

Earlier this week, Krejcir lost his bid to have revealed the phone records of O’Sullivan and two policemen.

The Czech fugitive launched a bid in June to subpoena the phone records of Ximba, O’Sullivan and later, those of the investigating officer who arrested him in November, Captain Freddy Ramuhala.

The three men won their application for an interdict to prevent Krejcir’s lawyers from accessing the records.
