Johannesburg - The bail application of three men who appeared for the murder of a schoolboy was postponed in the Wolmanransstad Magistrate's Court, North West police said on Wednesday.
“They will appear on 3 March and were remanded in custody,” said Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone.
Johannes Bokele, 20, Thapelo Mmoga, 18, Abel Tau, 18, and four minors allegedly stoned the 17-year-old to death at Kgakala township in Leeudoringstad on Monday.
“It appears that the victim was hit with stones and died on the scene while his friends managed to run away.
“The motive of the incident is unknown at this stage, and all minor suspects are undergoing assessment by social workers.”
The minors would appear in court on Friday for an inquiry.
