Rustenburg - A man has been arrested for possession of chrome stones in Damonsville near Brits, North West police said on Tuesday.
Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said the man was arrested on Monday, during operation fiyela in the cluster Brits.
“This is after chrome stones were found inside his home in Damonsville when the police conducted a search. He is expected to appear in the Brits Magistrates’ Court soon.”
Colonel Mokgwabone said 21 undocumented people were also arrested.
“The operation came after others held in the province several days ago, and the police together with other law enforcement officials, will continue with these operations to maintain stability, fight the scourge of violence and reclaim spaces from the control of criminals.”
