Man held after KZN couple’s murder

Johannesburg - A man accused of killing a couple at their home in Mbongolwane near Eshowe in January is expected to appear in court on Monday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.

The 24-year-old would appear in the Inkanyezi Magistrate's Court, Major Thulani Zwane said.

He was arrested on Sunday after being on the run since January.

He allegedly shot dead Thembinkosi, 57, and Bongi Mthethwa, 48, on January 28 in their homestead in the area. The motive was not known.
