Johannesburg - A man has been arrested in Fordsburg, Johannesburg, for allegedly raping his girlfriend, Gauteng police said on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old was arrested around 4pm on Monday, after allegedly raping the 23-year-old woman around 7am the same day, Warrant Officer Xoli Mbele said.
He allegedly forced himself on the woman after she refused to have sex with him.
He would appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court soon. - Sapa
