Durban - A 47-year old man was shot dead in the KwaMashu Hostels, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Monday.
Police spokesman Major Thulani Zwane said the man was shot on Sunday evening in Jabula Road as he left a meeting.
“It is alleged that he was coming from a meeting when he was attacked by unknown suspects who opened fire wounding him on the chest and at his back,” said Zwane.
Zwane said the motive for the attack was not known and that no arrests had been made.
A case of murder has been opened at the KwaMashu police station.
