Durban – A new-born baby wrapped in a rubbish bag has been found dumped in bushes in Durban.
Crisis Medical spokesman Kyle van Reenen said paramedics declared the baby dead in Riverside Drive in the plush Durban North suburb.
Pedestrians had discovered the baby in the bush near the road.
He said the baby’s umbilical cord was still intact.
“Unfortunately the baby had no signs of life and was declared dead.”
He said police were investigating.
