Cape Town - A woman was arrested in Robertson on Friday for possession of drugs worth about R170 000 on the street, Western Cape police said.

A police officer stopped and searched a car and found a box with 3 000 Mandrax tablets, with an estimated street value of R150 000, and tik powder worth about R20 000 on the street, Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said.

The woman would appear in the Worcester Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of dealing in drugs.
