Johannesburg - She was only 11 when her alleged rapist took her virginity.

She told him that she was in pain, and to stop. But he continued to rape her and ignored her pleas.

This was the testimony of a Limpopo teenager, who on Tuesday testified against Peter Dashboy Khoza in the high court sitting in Palm Ridge.

The girl was the first witness to give evidence against Khoza, who is facing 152 charges.

They include rape, sexual assaults, exposure of genitals to children, kidnapping, assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, theft and an attempt to commit a sexual offence.

Khoza, now 40, pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

The teen said the accused had kidnapped her and her sister after approaching them at their vegetable stall.

The girls were selling tomatoes when he approached them with the intention to buy some.

She said the accused told them he would buy all the tomatoes, provided they went with him to the market where he wanted to buy spinach.

She said they didn’t reach the market, but instead were taken into the veld where she was raped. Her sister wasn’t raped.

When the alleged crime was committed in 2007, the younger sister was nine years old.

It is alleged the 40-year-old raped 29 schoolgirls between the ages of six and 12. His reign of terror began in Limpopo, in 2007, when he allegedly raped his first victim, a 10-year-old.

It is believed that he fled to Gauteng, where he allegedly continued to rape young girls in Tembisa, Ivory Park, Olifantsfontein, Kliptown, Eldorado Park and Freedom Park.

It is alleged the accused would target schoolgirls by kidnapping them and taking them into the veld.

The trial continues.
