Siblings die after house blaze

Rustenburg - Three sisters died in hospital after their house was petrol-bombed in Tlhabane, near Rustenburg, North West police said on Sunday.

“Tlhabane police are investigating a case of murder, arson and malicious damage to property after three Segopa ladies - Kealeboga, Elsa and Ana - died tragically during a house fire in the early hours of Saturday,” said Sergeant Kealeboga Molale.

Molale said the house was set on fire with a homemade petrol bomb.

“The three died upon their arrival at a local hospital while the father is still in a critical condition in hospital. Circumstances surrounding this incident is unknown. The investigation is continuing.”

Molale urged the community to assist the police with any information that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators. Members of the public were urged to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Magano, at the Tlhabane police station on 014 565 9169.
