Rustenburg - Municipal workers found the body of a newborn baby girl wrapped in a black plastic bag along a street in Extension 7 in Butterworth, Eastern Cape on Thursday.
Provincial police spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said: “The workers were busy cleaning the streets of Butterworth when they discovered the foetus early this morning (Thursday) at about 07:15. Butterworth police have opened an inquest docket for further investigation.”
