Tonga - Judgment in the case of a first-year mechanical engineering student who pleaded guilty to stabbing and killing his friend during a tavern brawl was postponed on Thursday.

The judgment was postponed by the Tonga Regional Court for the submission of a report from correctional services, a Sapa correspondent reported.

Collen Sabelo Shongwe's bail of R1000 was extended until September 29.

Judgment would take place in the Boschfontein Regional Court.

Shongwe, 25, was arrested on November 3 last year immediately after the incident happened.
