Teen held after another teen’s murder

Johannesburg - A 16-year-old has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another boy of the same age to death in Komkhulu location, Ngqamakhwe, near King William's Town, Eastern Cape police said on Saturday.

The stabbing happened around 1pm on Friday, Captain Jackson Manatha said.

“The motive for the murder is still vague at this point in time.”

The arrested teenager would appear in the Ngqamakhwe Magistrate's Court on Monday to face a murder charge.

He would be released into his parents' custody once they had been traced. - Sapa
