Three bust with drugs in Bellville

Cape Town - Three foreign nationals have been arrested in Bellville, Cape Town, for allegedly being in possession of drugs, Western Cape police said on Saturday.

At about 8.30am on Saturday, SA Police Service members attached to the “trio” crimes and gangs unit followed up information about drug activities at Parksig Villas in Bellville, spokeswoman Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said in a statement.

Three suspects, all foreign nationals aged between 29 and 36, were arrested. Various drugs, including tik (crystal methamphetamine), dagga, and cocaine, with an estimated street value of R8 000 were confiscated.

The three suspects were expected to appear in the Bellville Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of possession of drugs, she said.
