White River - Three Mozambican women allegedly found in possession of counterfeit takkies were arrested near White River on Friday, Mpumalanga police said.
Police patrolling the N4 near Ngodwana stopped and searched a Mitsubishi Pajero, Colonel Leonard Hlathi said.
They found brand-name takkies, including Nike, Adidas, and All Star, worth about R80 000. The women were arrested and would appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court on charges of possession of counterfeit goods on Monday.
