Butterworth - A teenage girl was raped, allegedly by her friend and another man, in Msobomvu township near Butterworth, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha said the 17-year-old girl was raped on Saturday.
“ The 17-year-old girl was raped by the very same friend she had visited and another suspect who was in the house also raped her.”
He said the two suspects, aged 18 and 20, were arrested. They would appear in the Butterworth Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
