Cape Town – Police seized tik (crystal meth) worth about R3 million and arrested three people during a raid at a suspected drug den in Grassy Park, Cape Town, on Friday afternoon, Western Cape police said.

The officers were acting on a tip-off about illegal activities at the house.

“Police followed up the information and it led to the arrest of three females, aged 21, 26, and 48,” said police spokeswoman Noloyiso Rwexana.

“Tik with an estimated street value of R3 million was found in the bedroom, packed in small packets.”

The three women were expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of dealing in drugs.
