Zero tolerance for violence: JMPD, SAPS

Johannesburg - The Johannesburg Metro Police Department and the South African Police Service on Wednesday said they would continue to pour officers into the Johannesburg CBD to prevent any further attacks on foreign nationals.

JMPD spokesperson, Wayne Minnaar, and his SAPS spokesperson, Lungelo Dlamini, issued a statement in which they reiterated that no form of violence would be tolerated and that the safety and wellbeing of everyone in South Africa should be upheld at all times.
