Pretoria - The Seriti Commission of Inquiry into the 1999 arms deal has been adjourned until next week, its spokesman said on Tuesday.

Former public enterprises minister Alec Erwin concluded his testimony on Tuesday, William Baloyi said in a statement.

Lawyers for Human Rights could not cross-examine Erwin, as they had originally indicated.

The commission would resume on February 24.
