Mandela cortege arrives in Qunu

Qunu - The military procession bearing former president Nelson Mandela's body arrived at his childhood village of Qunu, in the Eastern Cape, around 4pm on Saturday.

Residents awaiting the cortege's arrival waved flags and raised fists as it drove past.

Members of the Mandela family have also arrived in Qunu.
