Pretoria - Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe arrived at the Waterkloof Air Force Base in Pretoria on Tuesday evening.

Mugabe, accompanied by his wife Grace, was received at the military base by senior government officials including International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane.

The octogenarian leader will be officially welcomed at the Union Buildings in Pretoria by President Jacob Zuma on Wednesday morning.

In the afternoon, SA Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is scheduled to pay a courtesy call at Mugabe’s Pretoria hotel.
