Cape Town - Ses’khona People’s Rights Movement leader Andile is one of 30 people who made it onto the ANC Western Cape executive, the party said in a statement on Monday.
The controversial activist bowed out of the close race for provincial secretary on Sunday to not split the vote which paved the way for Faiz Jacobs the to take the position.
Lili survived being shot four times last year on the eve of a march to the ANC’s offices in the Cape Town CBD. Ses’khona accused members of the ANC provincial brass of the shooting.
While Marius Fransman maintained his position as ANC provincial chairman, his new deputy is the SA Communist Party’s Khaya Magaxa.
