Cape Town - President Jacob Zuma on Wednesday announced three new appointments to the national executive.

Essop Pahad was appointed as minister in the presidency responsible for public participation and interface.

Charles Nqakula is minister for roads and traffic affairs, while ANC spokesman Zizi Kodwa becomes the deputy minister for social cohesion and nation building.
