Free State - President Jacob Zuma arrived for an ANC election campaign in Sasolburg in the Free State after 9am on Saturday.

Zuma's first stop was at the Fezile Dabi district municipality civic hall for a private briefing session.

Blue light vehicles and police blocked the road leading to the hall, and armed security stood at the building's entrance.

About twenty ANC supporters gathered outside the hall.

Many of them were wearing the party's traditional colours of green, yellow, and black. Others carried ANC flags and posters depicting Zuma's face.

“We are (here) to support our party and Zuma,” said supporter Thato Sealo. - Sapa
