Johannesburg - President Jacob Zuma will resume public activities next week after resting for a full week to recover from a demanding schedule, the Presidency said on Friday.

“The President has been working from home and his first public engagement will be the State of the Nation address (SONA) in Parliament on Tuesday, followed by attending the Sona debate on June 18 to 19 as well as responding to the debate on the 20th,” said spokesman Mac Maharaj.

On June 18, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa would address The New Age/SABC business breakfast session, while ministers and deputy ministers would also participate in media interviews in various languages in order to unpack the SONA for the public, Maharaj said.
