Johannesburg - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will deliver the eulogy at the funeral of Epainette Mbeki on Saturday, the presidency said.
“Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will today on behalf of President Jacob Zuma, the government and people of South Africa deliver a eulogy at the funeral of Mrs Epainette Mbeki... in Dutywa in the Eastern Cape,” Ramaphosa's spokesman Ronnie Mamoepa said.
Ramaphosa would be accompanied by Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe, who is also the chairman of the inter-ministerial committee on state funerals.
Mbeki, the mother of former president Thabo Mbeki, died in the Life St Dominic's Hospital in East London, Eastern Cape last week Saturday at the aged of 98. - Sapa
