Port Elizabeth - Three people were killed and 14 were injured when the taxi they were travelling in overturned along the Old Grahamstown Road in Port Elizabeth on Thursday, paramedics said.
“Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with accident debris and the twisted remains of the vehicle,” spokesman Chris Botha said.
Three people died before paramedics arrived, while another 14 had injuries ranging from serious to minor.
The cause of the accident was being investigated.
