Ficksburg - A two-year-old boy died when he fell backwards and hit his head while travelling on a tractor on the R26 near Ficksburg in the Free State on Monday, paramedics said.
“The child was riding on the back of a tractor when he fell backwards and hit his head on a part of the tractor causing fatal injuries,” ER24 spokesman Pieter Rossouw said.
The child was already dead when paramedics arrived on the scene.
