Pretoria - Oscar Pistorius’s possessions have been removed from the house in which he shot and killed his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
Soon new owners could be moving into the home in Silverwoods Estate. The buyers reportedly paid R4-5 million for the house he no longer wants and can’t afford.
The Pistorius family has not commented on the sale or when the new owners might move in, but his lawyers indicated that Pistorius could not contemplate living in the home again.
They also said the sale was necessary because of Pistorius’s high legal costs.
Since the shooting of Steenkamp and throughout his trial to date, Pistorius has been staying with his uncle, Arnold.
The sale was done privately and eNCA reported that the new owners are a South African couple.
