Johannesburg - Two men died and three others were injured after two cars collided on William Nicol drive in Johannesburg on Monday morning, paramedics said.

“On assessment, paramedics found that two male passengers in the back of the light motor vehicle had already succumbed to their fatal injuries,” ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said.

“Three other male patients in the light motor vehicle were found to have sustained critical injuries.”

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals.

The cause of the accident was being investigated.
