Durban - Three people were killed and 10 injured when a bakkie crashed near Ulundi on Monday.
Robert McKenzie, spokesman for the KwaZulu-Natal provincial Emergency Medical Service, said that the accident happened on the R66, which connects Ulundi with Pongola.
He said paramedics had treated 10 patients and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
Details of the crash were sketchy and it was not known what had caused the it.
