Durban - A three-year-old boy drowned in Ramsgate, KwaZulu-Natal on Friday, paramedics said.
“Reports from the scene indicate that the little boy was found by members of the family who contacted emergency services for assistance,” Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said.
The boy was found in the swimming pool.
Paramedics spent about an hour trying to resuscitate the boy.
He was declared dead on the scene.
