Polokwane - A nine-year-old girl died after being hit by lightning in Marble Hall, Limpopo police said on Friday.
Refilwe Mokau, in Grade Three at Makalakanye Primary School, was struck at Ga-Botha village while on her way home from school on Thursday, Constable Lethunya Mmuroa said.
“She was rushed to Lefiso clinic for treatment. Unfortunately she didn't survive.”
