Nelspruit - A man was airlifted to hospital on Thursday after he was burnt by steam in Delmas, Mpumalanga, paramedics said.
He was found in a critical condition in an industrial area with burns across his body, ER24 spokeswoman Chitra Bodasing said.
He received advanced life support treatment by paramedics before being airlifted to hospital.
“The exact cause of the incident is unknown. However, it is believed that the man was working on machinery when he was burnt,” Bodasing said.
