Johannesburg - A girl, 13, was killed after being hit by a taxi in Witbank, Mpumalanga, paramedics said on Monday.
She was knocked down in Mathews Phosa Street in Kwaguqa at around 6pm on Sunday, said ER24 spokeswoman Chitra Bodasing in a statement.
“When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on (the) scene, they found that the child was cold and not breathing.”
The girl had sustained severe head injuries and was declared dead on the scene, she said.
The cause of the accident was unknown.
