Johannesburg - A man in his 20s was killed and four people injured when their vehicle rolled in the Northern Cape, paramedics said on Monday.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said the accident occurred on Kirk Road in Kuruman on Sunday.
A light motor vehicle was found lying on its side, on the side of the road when paramedics arrived.
The lifeless body of the man, believed to be in his 20s, was found lying a few metres away from the vehicle.
“Unfortunately the man had already succumbed to his multiple, fatal injuries. He was declared dead on scene,” Meiring said.
Four other patients were found on scene with only minor injuries, Meiring said.
The injured patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to Kuruman Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
