Mahikeng - Ten people died and three others were critically injured when two cars collided near Atemelang outside Mahikeng, North West police said on Monday.
“Three people are in a critical condition in hospital,” said Sergeant Kelebogile Moleko.
She said some of the people died at the scene and others in hospital, but it was not yet clear how many people died at the scene.
The accident occurred on Sunday night when a bakkie and a Volkswagen Golf collided.
