Potchefstroom - Fourteen people were injured when a taxi overturned on Ruismierbult Road in Potchefstroom on Friday, paramedics said.
“Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and after triaging found 14 people with injuries ranging from critical to minor,” Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
“After paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene they transported them to nearby hospitals for the care that they required.”
The cause of the accident was still speculative, though it appeared the taxi had veered off the road and come to a rest in the open veld.
