Potchefstroom - Seventeen people were injured in a taxi accident on the N12, outside Potchefstroom, on Friday, reported ER24
ER24 said the wrecked taxi was found lying on the side of the road with passengers sitting on a nearby pavement when the paramedics arrived on the scene.
Seventeen people had sustained minor injuries in the accident. The patients were treated and then transported to Potchefstroom Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision was not known but local authorities were on scene for further investigation.
