Rustenburg - Two children were killed on Thursday when a train crashed into a car at a railway crossing in Rustenburg, paramedics said.
“The Toyota Avanza was carrying 12 kids and one adult driver,” Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann said.
The 11 injured people were taken to a hospital for further treatment.
“The condition of the 11 patients ranges from moderate to critical.”
Police could not confirm the accident immediately.
