Days after a single ticket scooped the R102 million PowerBall jackpot the winner has still not come forward to collect their prize, a report says.

According to the New Age, lottery operator Gidani says the winning ticket was bought in the Free State.

The jackpot reached a new record on Friday after 24 rollovers.

“We are patiently waiting for the winner of the PowerBall jackpot to come forward and claim their prize,” Thembi Tulwana was quoted as saying, adding that the winner would be offered emotional and financial counselling.

“The winner has 365 days after the draw to collect the money,” she said. - IOL
