Rustenburg - Economic Freedom Fighters’ leader Julius Malema received a warm welcome at Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg on Saturday.
A crowd of over 20 000 stood up and chanted “Juju, Juju” when he came to salute his followers.
He was flanked by his deputy Floyd Shivambu, national chairman Dali Mpofu and general secretary Godrich Gardee.
Malema was expected to speak to supporters, after which the party’s second birthday bash was set to continue until midnight when fireworks would be let off to mark the birth of the EFF into the South African political history.
