Johannesburg - Gauteng Sports MEC Lebogang Maile has launched another scathing attack on Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema.

This time he labelled the former ANC Youth League president a “reckless demagogue” and “pseudo-Gucci revolutionary” who preached socio-economic freedom while sporting an expensive red beret.

Maile was among the speakers at an ANCYL gathering addressed by ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe at Wits University on Thursday night.

Malema couldn’t be reached for comment.

The verbal attack on Malema came hardly a fortnight after Maile called the EFF leader “a drunkard and a womaniser”.

In response, Malema said Maile was himself a womaniser because “Maile is 33 years old or more with no less than six children. He is expecting twins as we speak.” He then threatened to sue the MEC.

Maile said Malema was a hypocrite who claimed to have never seen a million rand while owing Sars R16m in outstanding taxes.
