Cape Town - Rumours have spread that defence expert witness Roger Dixon posted a Facebook message on Thursday morning ahead of his third day on the stand at the Oscar Pistorius murder trial.
A picture of the post has appeared on Twitter and could not be verified on Facebook.
The post as displayed on Twitter says: “Third day in court today. Let’s see how much of my credibilty, integrity and professional reputation is destroyed. It is difficult to get belief in those who will not listen because it is not what they want to hear.”
The post ends with: “After that, beer!”
Dixon, a qualified geologist, faced a tough cross-examination by prosecutor Gerrie Nel on Wednesday.
