Brits - Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema on Friday told residents of Madibeng Local Municipality the only way to stop corruption was to vote for his party.
“The only solution to the problem is putting an 'X' next to the Economic Freedom Fighters,” he said.
“The corruption can be removed by an X.”
He was speaking in front of the municipal office ahead of residents submitting a memorandum.
He urged residents not to abstain from voting because they were not happy with service delivery but to exercise their democratic right.
“Don't say you won't vote. You have the power to vote these b*****s out of office,” he said.
