Istanbul - A bus rolled into ditch in southern Turkey killing 17 people and leaving 28 injured, local media reported Friday.
Most of the passengers were agricultural labourers who were going to work at a nearby apple plantation. Many were reportedly women.
An estimated 1 000 people die each year in traffic accidents in Turkey, according to the World Health Organization.
