Five members of an Indonesian family were found dead in their hotel room on the resort island of Bali, local media reported on Saturday.
An employee at the Hotel Tower Klungkung found the charred bodies of the couple, aged 32 and 29, and their three young children on Friday, TVOne broadcaster reported.
“I saw smoke coming out of the room and when I opened the door, it was totally dark,” Ni Made Aprianti said.
Police believed that the couple committed suicide by burning themselves and their children, the reports said.
Hotel staff reportedly said they did not hear any screams. - Sapa-dpa
