Kuala Lumpur - Relatives of Chinese passengers aboard the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 arrived on Thursday in Kuala Lumpur to protest against the Malaysian government's decision to declare them officially dead and the missing plane lost.

Fifteen relatives from China carrying placards that read “MH370: Who can tell us what happened?” and “Please help us! Come back MH370” arrived before dawn at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Kelly Wen, whose husband was on the missing plane, said they hope to put their questions to Malaysia Airlines and government officials.

“We want to know why MH370 was declared lost in an accident and the basis for such a declaration,” Wen said.

Another relative Zhong Hui Jun said she believed that her daughter and daughter-in-law, who were aboard the plane, are not dead.

The search for the plane's wreckage continues in the southern Indian Ocean.

Last month, Malaysia declared the disappearance of MH370 to be an accident and said all the 239 people aboard are presumed dead, saying that available data indicated the flight ended in the southern Indian Ocean.

Beijing-bound Flight MH370 disappeared about an hour after it left the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on March 8. About two-thirds of those aboard were Chinese nationals.
