Seoul - North Korea has completed upgrading a launch pad for a larger type of space rocket, a US-based analysts group said.
“North Korea has completed a major construction programme begun in late 2013 to upgrade the Sohae Satellite Launching Station,” the Washington-based US-Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins University said on its website 38 North.
“North Korea is now ready to move forward with another rocket launch,” the website said, quoting satellite imagery of the site.
Pyongyang launched a rocket into space from the Sohae site at the end of 2012. - Sapa-dpa
